This time we are re-issuing the SQUIGGY "songs about hate.." CD that originally came out on Headache Records in 1999. This was the bands first full length release at the time and it contained a mix of new material and re-recorded older material. A great mix of tracks! The band was started by a group of friends who were just trying to do something a little different. The band consisted of members from other bands, most notably Squiggy and The Oi! Scouts, but the band tried very hard to not be pigeon holed as just another New Jersey skinhead Oi! band. A completely unique sound emerged that paved the way for many others to follow, not too Oi! for the punk rockers and not too metal or punk for the skinheads. Scouts and later Squiggy almuni, Gabe has played in many bands and has been a huge supporter of the NJ Punk for decades. In search of something new Gabe picked up an acoustic and started mixing his punk rock attitude and spirit with the Country sounds of his youth.
